*I colored it in but my markers are bad so I'm posting this one
Foundations Still-life Charcoal The point of emphasis on my drawing is the book that is sitting to the left of the tennis ball. To show three dimensional objects on a two dimensional surface, I used the charcoal to make the shadow of the objects on the other surfaces, and I used the white pencil to show how light reflected on the objects. I used one-point perspective when drawing the books, you can see the one point perspective in the book laying under the mug and soda bottle. The objects that I think came out the best were the mugs, the apple, and the tennis ball. I like the shading and the highlights in them. I wish I did a better job at paying attention to what the objects ae sitting on. It’s hard to tell the shape of the object behind the jar, which makes it hard to see what the book is on. I also should not have drawn in the color of certain things. I wish I had focused more on how the light bounced off the objects. I will also try to avoid making gray next time.
